DAY 01: ARRIVE AT the TUNIS CARTHAGE AIRPORT

Arrive at the Tunis Carthage Airport in Tunis, countries fast-growing capital city. Our travel representative will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel in Hammamet (50 minutes’ drive- 65 km) & help with smooth check-in at the hotel. Take a rest after the long journey, if you are energetic enough, you can do a quick tour around the buzzing city of Tunis.

The evening has dinner and stays overnight at the hotel.

DAY 02: DRIFT INTO THE ANCIENT TUNISIA

The morning after breakfast, head towards Kairouan, an important trade center in the ancient period and the fourth most important city for Muslim followers. The city is adorned with Grand Minarets, beautiful mosques & madrassas with narrow, maze-like lanes & alleys having colorful houses. Walk in the symphony of Kairouan city.

Later in the afternoon visit the Aghlabid Reservoir also called Aghlabid Basins, which is a series of ancient water reservoirs out of which only two remain intact.

Visit the Uqua Bin Nafi Mosque, an important Islamic landmark, also do visit the Sidi Sahbi Mausoleum, the tomb of Prophet Mohammed’s companion. You can do a quick visit to the Medina of Tunis for an hour.

Later leave for Sousse, a UNESCO world heritage site, the place is known for its exquisite ceramics, leatherwork & metal works. Walking around the alleys & souk streets of Sousse is itself refreshing, the white & blue color combination of buildings is really satisfying to our eyes.

Return to the hotel in Hammamet, dinner, and accommodation.

DAY 03: CHILL OUT AT THE BEACHES OF HAMMAMET

The whole day is at leisure, if the weather is favorable for boating, you can go for a half-day boat cruise across the Gulf of Hammamet. Late afternoon you can tour the nearby locations and enjoy the vibe of the seaside.

Towards evening return back to the hotel, and have a splendid dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 04: GLIMPSE INTO THE HEART OF TUNISIA

The morning after Breakfast, head towards Carthage (UNESCO World Heritage Site) the capital of the ancient Carthaginian Empire.

Visit Byrsa Hill and observe walled citadels and ruins of the Roman Empire and the Carthage Museum. Visit Baths of Antoninus (Bath of Carthage), the largest set of Roman Thermae built on the African continent situated at the edge of the Mediterranean Sea.

Later visit the village of Sidi Bou Said (10 minutes drive-5 Km) and stroll through the narrow streets of Sidi Bou Said, a picture-perfect town with white & blue shades for the houses. Don’t forget to Click a candid picture of yourself to show it to your loved ones.

Do visit the art galleries and try some mint tea from the traditional street cafes while enjoying the superb view of the gulf of Tunisia, also do visit Tunis Medina where we will see the “old Tunisia” which includes the Medina, the ‘European’ quarter built at the beginning of the 20th century, and the new modern suburbs Return back to the hotel in Tunis & overnight stay at Tunisia.

DAY 05: A FULL DAY IN TUNIS

Early morning after breakfast, head for a city tour of Tunis the whole day is at leisure.

DAY 06: DEPARTURE

The morning after breakfast, travel to the Tunis airport from where you will continue your journey back to your home. (05-15 Km-15-25 minutes driving).
